Riac in Husavik City

Nuetra grew to Lv. 11! That's when you heard something rumbling in the trash can at the end of the alley.

Riac, returning Neutra, went to go investigate the trash can.

(Awwh D: ...IT'S BLOVATRA ISN'T IT)

You open the can and a snake jumps out! HISSSSSS! It calls at you and stares menacingly at you and wants to fight.

"OH WHAT--" Riac's startled, his heart skipping a beat. "Okay then...Battle it is." He sends out Spallara, suspecting that the snake is a Poison type. "Spallara, use Psywave and make it bounce all through the alleyway!"

Spallara aimed it's Psywave at the small snake and smacked it into walls of the alleyway, but soon the snake broke free and jumped forward, biting Spallara, who stumbled back, but quickly jumped back up.

"Hm...I think I'll go with this!" Riac then returns Spallara and sends out Blovatra. "Blovatra, spin, use Tackle, bounce off of the walls, and pin the snake to the wall while spinning!"

Blovatra started to spin rapidly and then spun into the walls and tackled the snake into the wall!

The snake tried to wriggle free but couldn't. However, it didn't faint yet!

Congratultions, your Blovatra learned Rapid Spin!

"Great, Blovatra! Now, keep spinning, roll it onto you, hold it in place with that antenna on your head, and then let go and send it flying!" Riac was getting excited.

Blovatra nodded, in a cocoon-y way and managed to latch onto the snake and fling it into a post. The snake fell, unconscious. Gain EXP or catch?

"Good job, Blovatra!" Riac decided to get EXP from this battle, still wanting to catch the Dark type, but also wanting to level up his current party.

Spallara grew to Lv. 8!
Blovatra grew to Lv. 10!

"Huh? Blovatra, you evolved! And you're an Ice Type now...I think I'll call you Snowbug now." Riac returns Snowbug and Spallara, still on the hunt for that Dark Type.

As if the Pokemon heard his thoughts, a wild Darklitti appeared! It stared up at Riac with big, beady eyes.

Riac was excited. This is what he was waiting for. Riac sent out Inferno, thinking of another plan. "Hm...Inferno, use Growl and make it vibrate all over the alleyway!" Riac covered his ears.

Inferno let out a huge Growl that bounced off the walls of the entire alley. The small cat Pokémon raised it's paws to it's ears, covering them.

Riac, still covering his ears, said another command. "Now Inferno, while it's distracted, use Scratch, both hands!"

Inferno scratched at it with both hands and the cat realized the noise stopped. It bit Inferno's hands, both getting a good amount of damage.

"Inferno, swing your arms around and try to throw the Pokemon off!" Riac almost knew for certain that this would work.

The cat went flying off, but it landed on its feet. It then got ready to attack with another Bite.

Riac was pretty surprised. "Inferno, jump off to the side, and then jump off the building and tackle it using Scratch!"

The cat missed, but managed to dodge most of the Scratches. It tried to run off, but tripped. It lay there, but you knew it wasn't out yet. This was the perfect chance for a catch.

Riac took advantage of the situation and indeed did throw a Pokeball at the Pokemon.
